In the 1950’s The Soviet Union banned American Music & Art from the West. Soviet Teens smuggled & shared Records on the Black Market by duplicating American Rock’nRoll, onto the soft plastic of X-rays collected from Hospital dumpsters or donated by friends. These X-Ray Records became known as ‘Ribs’ or ‘Bone Records.’
The Missing Records Exhibition explores these concepts imagining the fictional back stories & situational creation of found objects, the passion, power, struggle & importance.
Multiple layered digital and hand-painted components with ink, paint, and lacquers convey depth & material transition. Each piece captures songwriting, recording, creation experience—and the love of the creative process.

MONOLITHIC / INSIGNIFICANCE
Monolithic / Insignificance interrogates the encroaching structures of global governance and technological monopoly. Historically, "progress" has served as a veneer for the erasure of cultures and histories; this body of work serves as a visceral response to that trajectory. By juxtaposing unmovable, perfect forms against the transience of the individual, the series compels a vital contemplation of an era where human participation is increasingly rendered obsolete by the systems designed to manage it.
SIGNED LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
Each work is rendered as a "Digital Multiple"—a 12-colour Giclée print on 308gsm 100% Cotton Rag produced between Australia and Bali by expert art printers using the Canon ImagePrograf 4000 to meet the highest museum-grade archival standards. This specific Hahnemühle Photo Rag substrate is selected to achieve a distinct tonal depth, with each piece hand-signed and numbered by the artist as part of a limited edition of a maximum of 25 prints per artwork.
